Garden Salad 🥗

A salad is any of the various “usually cold dishes” including raw greens, vegetables and toppings. It is served with dressing or small pieces of food, or usually mixed with a dressing or set in gelatin.

Garden Salad is a tossed salad made with vegetables that are commonly grown in a garden (such as lettuce, tomato, and cucumber).

Ingredients:

  • Purple cabbage. – 1 cup
  • Carrot. – 1 medium
  • Cucumber. – 1
  • Spring onion. – a small bunch
  • Corn. – 1
  • Tomato. – 1/2
  • Salad dressing. – 12 cup.
  • Salt. – 1 tsp
  • Pepper. – 1 tsp

Preparation:

Step 1:

Cut all the vegetables of desired size and shape ( You can select any kind of vegetables). On the other hand boil the corn with pinch of salt for 5 to 6 mins until it is cooked.

Step 2:

Now add in the boiled corn by filtering it out without water and mix up with all the vegetables . Now add in the dressing for salad i.e., sauce that is made for salad. ( I’ve made my own salad dressing) add in some pepper to it and enjoy it as a meal.

Notes:

  • You can make salad using many vegetables like broccoli 🥦, lettuce or cabbage 🥬 and many more according to your taste
  • The dressing is the best part of the salad . It is called as Japanese dressing which is made of yoghurt, sesame oil , sesame seeds as main ingredients.
